Life of Pi

Paying $25 for the 3D ‘immersive’ screen at Melbourne central cinema, I was hoping it was going to be good, seen as it would be one of the most expensive films I’ve ever seen in the cinema! Taking a slightly different angle from the book, I quite enjoyed the visual journey that Ang Lee took us on. Impressive 3D, and I particularly liked the opening shot of the meerkats and all the colours on display. Richard Parker was of course the star and he did an excellent job of keeping me hooked. Still confused by the island metaphor though!
